There is a certain formula for calculating the number of beams and crossbars. For a crossbar 1.1 m long, 4 beams are required, 1.2 m long - 5 beams, 1.45 m long - 6 beams, etc.

The number of beams and girders for casting concrete columns of square section is also specially calculated.

If the height of the concrete surface is higher than the height of the existing beam, extension is applied. Steel plates make it possible to connect two beams into one. It is also possible to connect two crossbars using an insert and wedges. Therefore, a technical project of almost any complexity can be solved using beam-beam formwork.
